Vagina Type
For a realistic silicone sex doll, you can configure the vagina type, making it either removable or fixed.
Type 1 — Removable Vagina
This type of vagina is a silicone cylinder that fits into a cavity inside the doll's crotch.
The original purpose of this vagina type
The original idea was to make cleaning the doll easier. That is, you simply take out the cylinder, wash it, then put it back into the cavity. In practice, though, this hasn't worked out.
Why this option doesn't work
- You still need to wash the cavity inside the crotch, since moisture and dirt still build up there regardless. So the whole point of this vagina type is lost.
- From constant stretching, the material of the cavity will tear over time, which significantly shortens your doll's lifespan.
The real advantages of the removable option
To be fair, the removable construction does have its strengths:
- A worn insert can be replaced with a new one. With very long term and very active use, the doll's vaginal texture can wear down and become less pronounced. A removable vagina becomes the solution in this case.
- With a number of brands, replacement inserts are available with different internal textures. So with a removable vagina, you can change the texture and sensations by ordering a few different inserts. We cover this in more detail in the Vaginal Texture section.
Also bear in mind that, with some brands, the inserts feel somewhat firmer than the fixed version due to the moulding process involved.
However, in our view the drawbacks of this vagina type significantly outweigh the advantages. So we don't recommend choosing this type of vagina. We advise always going with the fixed type.
Type 2 — Fixed Vagina
In this case, the vagina is a single construction, integrated with the rest of the doll's body. This is the vagina type chosen by 99% of all our customers.
Advantages of this vagina type
- Because it's a single construction with the rest of the doll's body, it isn't prone to stretching from being taken in and out of a cavity.
- Easier to care for, since you only need to wash one opening, the vagina itself.
- Maximum realism: there's no boundary between an insert and the body, the whole crotch area is a single piece.
So we recommend choosing this vagina type for any doll.
