Silicone Test Piece (Irontech Doll)

The Irontech Silicone Test Piece is a sample of Irontech silicone in your chosen skin tone, for feeling the material and testing products away from your doll.

What it does

Irontech offers silicone samples so you can check how the material feels, see a skin tone in real light and test whether clothing stains the material. Once you own a doll, a test piece is also the safe place to try a repair glue, a pigment or a cleaning product first, so any surprise happens on the sample rather than on your doll.

A sample shows the surface: its softness, texture and colour. It cannot show how the whole doll feels with a skeleton inside, or areas such as gel breasts.

Which dolls it suits

It represents Irontech silicone. We offer it with Irontech Doll, Real Lady and Sigafun dolls. If you are weighing silicone against TPE, Irontech's TPE test piece lets you compare the two side by side.

Choosing a skin tone

Choose from Natural, Glow, Tanned, Dark Tanned or Black, or Skin Tone Matched, where we match the sample to your doll's skin tone. Choose the tone of your doll if you plan to test repair products or colours on it.

How to use it

Try anything new on the sample first: a repair glue, a pigment, a cleaning product or a garment you are unsure about. Then check the sample for marks, staining or changes before you use the same product on your doll.

Care and storage

Look after it as you would your doll's skin: wash it with antibacterial soap and warm, not hot, water, pat it dry with a soft cloth, and keep it out of direct sunlight.
