Hanging Hook
Description
The Hanging Hook fits in place of your doll's head so you can hang her from a strong bar or rail while you clean and look after her.
How it works
You take your doll's head off and fit the hook where the head normally sits. The hook then hangs from a bar or rail, so your doll is held upright with her body straight and every side within easy reach.
The hook is only as secure as what it hangs from. Before you hang your doll, check that the bar or rail, and whatever it is fixed to, can carry her full weight.
Which dolls it suits
Because the hook replaces the head, it has to fit your doll's neck. We match it to your doll's brand, so it arrives with the right fitting.
How to use it
- Keep the removed head somewhere safe and never immerse it in water. The neck contains a metal joint that can rust. See our guide on how to wash your doll.
- When you wash your doll while she hangs, keep water away from the neck and the hook. If water gets in, dry the area straight away.
- Let her dry completely before you take her down or cover her.
Do not leave a doll with a very large bust hanging for long periods. Over time the breasts can sag under their own weight, and the material can deform.
