When a model is being delivered to the UK, we sometimes ask clients if they’d like us to film some content with their doll before dispatch. We have a dedicated, clean space set up specifically for this — soft padded flooring and walls, perfect lighting, and a controlled environment.

All handling is done strictly in gloves, and the doll doesn’t come into contact with anything unrelated. In short — as sterile as a surgeon’s workspace.

But TOP-CYDOLL really was a mystery for us. We’ve been working with them for six months — they were selling everywhere, just not in the UK. Until recently.

And now, finally, we’ve got the chance to film some content with them. Which is exactly what we’re doing, ladies and gentlemen.

So realistic. Almost lifelike — even without the head, it still impresses.

We’ve had a few subscribers asking about facial expressions — and at the moment, this is pretty much the limit of what’s available.

There are two main reasons for that:

💰 First — advanced animatronics are expensive. What you see in the video is about as much as can be fitted into a doll’s head without sending the price through the roof.

🤷🏼‍♂️ Second — it’s simply not a trend (yet). Factories are focused on realism, detail, and the tactile experience — the sensations you get from interacting with the doll. Facial expressions and other “cosmetic” movements just aren’t a priority right now.

Sooner or later, though, the technology will become more affordable. Testing will expand, the audience will get curious, a trend will emerge — and expressive dolls will hit the market, eventually becoming the new gold standard.
